Good morning

 

A busy week data wise plus 3 central banks have meetings regarding interest rates. The markets have priced in by about 90%, the US raising their rate by 0.25% on Wednesday to 1.5%.

The Bank of England and the European Central bank (ECB) meet on Thursday and both rates are expected to remain unchanged.

 

GBP/EUR touched a 6-month high last week of 1.15 but has opened around 1.1350 this morning.

GBP/USD was also up to 1.3540 but is now below 1.34.
