A quiet day today with Mark Carney delivering a speech as Governor of the Bank of England.
Theresa May has said she is close to ‘bringing home changes’ to her agreement that would satisfy current objections.
She has also hinted the ‘meaningful vote’ scheduled for Wednesday, will not take place and replaced by a series of Brexit votes instead.
GBP/EUR remains rangebound but fell to 1.1455 late Friday, opening at a touch over 1.15 this morning.
GBP/USD also fell to 1.2965 last week but opens a cent higher today.
